About Framlingham

Framlingham is a delightful market town, near the beautiful Suffolk coast. Locals, who simply call the town "Fram", hope the unspoilt area will remain a closely guarded secret, although it was voted the "Number One Place to Live in England" by Country Life in 2006.

Framlingham is rich in history is apparent where ever you go in this beautiful town, making it a very popular place to visit for young and old. The castle is the very obvious attraction, but is only one of the many attractions with historic value and interest within the town.

Framlingham College, the festival's actual location, is an independent, co-educational boarding and day school. It is one of the county's top public schools, with an excellent ISI Inspection report and an 'Outstanding' Ofstead report. Many of the College's students perform at the festival.
